GCHQ Competition Winners
A couple of terms ago, Year 8 students Roxi and Priscilla, took part in a GCHQ coding competition. They had to complete a variety of tasks, puzzles and riddles to get through the stages.
They then competed at De Montfort University against 11 other schools. They won the qualifier and came 4th out of the 11 schools! Continuing, Woodbrook had further success!
We then awarded as the 2nd highest, new entering state school!
Mrs Fraser and Mrs Harvey travelled to Belfast last weekend to attend a presentation evening and accept a prize on our behalf, little did they know the prize was a cheque for £5000! How incredible!
A huge well done and congratulations to all involved, we truly couldn’t have done it without you!
